          (Prophecy Towards Salvation)
sabbath day is forgotten by the world
Daniel 7:25 (Contemporary English Version)
"This king will speak evil of God Most High, and he will be cruel to God's chosen ones. He will try to change God's Law and the sacred seasons. And he will be able to do this for a time, two times, and half a time."
Alin  sa  Sampung Utos  ang may  panahon?
(Which of the Ten Commandments tells time?)

TANGING  ANG  IKA-APAT  LAMANG
(ONLY THE FOURTH COMMAND)
Exodus 20:8 (Amplified Bible)
[Earnestly] remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy (withdrawn from common employment and dedicated to God).

(Let us learn from how history began to keep Sunday by the most Christians .)

Saan  ba  nagsimula ang  salitang “Sunday”?
(Where the word "Sunday" started?)

  • Webster New encyclopedia International, Comprehensve Edition, "Sunday"
"Sunday, that is the day of the sun, Sundag: so called because this day was anciently dedicated to the sun or its worship. The first day of the week."
Government of Rome + Church = unity
  • Lectures on History of the Eastern Chucrh, by Dean Arthur F. Stanley, p.184.
"The persistence of old pagan name" Dies Solis "or Sunday for the weekly Christian festival is a big step in the amalgamation of pagan and Christian sentiment, recommended by Constantine to his pagan jurisdiction, and Christians, as" Reverend Day of the Sun ... "It became his way into the seclusion of religious conflict in his Empire in an institution ..."
  • First Civil Sunday Law Passed: March 7, 321 A.D.
History of the Christian Church ed. 1902, v.3, p.380
"On the venerable Day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed"
7th day of the week= holy day
1st day of the week= holiday

(If the Church of Catholic is asked, what they can say?)

  • The Convert's Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, p.50, by Peter Geiermann, London, 1934. Sanctioned by the Vatican, Jan. 25, 1910
Q: Which is the Sabbath day?
A: Saturday is the Sabbath day.
Q: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
A: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.

(Is there a passage from the Bible that allows the change of worship day?)

  • The faith of our Fathers, pp. 111, 112, Catholic Cardinal James Gibbons
"You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday."
  • Ten Rules for Living, p. 61, Clovis G. Chappel
"The reason of our observance of the first day instead of seventh is not based on positive law. Anyone can search the Scriptures but found no power to move the seventh day to the first day. "
  • Catholic Record, Sept. 17, 1833
"The Sunday is established not bec. of the law but because of tradition and institution of Catholic Church."
  • Canon and tradition p. 263
“The authority of the church could therefore not be bound to the authority of the Scriptures, because the Church had changed...the Sabbath into Sunday, not by command of Christ, but by its own authority.
Walang Bibical base
(No Bibical base)
(Why they changed Sabbath days towards Sundays?)

  • Catholicism and Fundamentalism, Karl Keating 1988, p.38
"The catholic church decided that Sunday should be the day of worship for Christians, to respect the resurrection day."

(Over a period of time, the people forgot the day that the command tells to remember. It was changed by tradition.)
Matthew 15:3 (Amplified Bible)
He replied to them, And why also do you transgress and violate the commandment of God for the sake of the rules handed down to you by your forefathers (the elders)?

Matthew 15:9 (Contemporary English Version)
It is useless for you to worship me,
when you teach rules made up by humans."

What is your guide? Tradition or Bible?
(What does other Protestant tell about it?)
  • Dr. Edward Hiscox, The Baptist Manual, Nov. 13, 1893
("There was and is a commandment to keep holy the Sabbath day, but that Sabbath day was not Sunday. ... It will be said, however, and with some show of triumph, that the Sabbath was transferred from the seventh to the first day of the week. ... Where can the record of such a transaction be found? Not in the New Testament--absolutely not. There is no scriptural evidence of the change of the Sabbath institution from the seventh to the first day of the week.")
  • The  Pentecostal  Evangel, Aug. 9, 1959, No. 2361 p. 3
                - David A. Womack
"'Why do we worship on Sunday? Doesn't the Bible teach us that Saturday should be the Lord's Day?' ... Apparently we will have to seek the answer from some other source than the New Testament."
  • Christian   Advocate, July 2, 1942
"Take the matter of Sunday. There are indications in the New Testament as to how the church came to keep the first day of the week as its day of worship, but there is no passage telling Christians to keep that day, or to transfer the Jewish Sabbath to that day." --Harris Franklin Rall,

Saint  Catherine  Catholic, Church  Sentinel, May 21, 1995
"Perhaps the boldest thing, the most revolutionary change the Church ever did, happened in the first century. The holy day, the Sabbath, was changed from Saturday to Sunday. "The Day of the Lord" (dies Dominica) was chosen, not from any directions noted in the Scriptures, but from the Church's sense of its own power. The day of resurrection, the day of Pentecost, fifty days later, came on the first day of the week. So this would be the new Sabbath. People who think that the Scriptures should be the sole authority, should logically become SEVENTH- DAY ADVENTISTS, and keep Saturday holy."
1 John 5:3 (Contemporary English Version)
We show our love for God by obeying his commandments, and they are not hard to follow.
(The PROPHECY gives us warning to not follow the revised mandate or tradition. We should obey Jesus' laws.)
